Pool, Park &\u00a0Campsite\u00a0<\/u><\/h2>\n

Near the center of town you will find our City Park. While your children run & enjoy the play structure you\u00a0can sit and relax under the abundant shade trees. Our park also features picnic shelters, 2 person swings, campsites and new community pool.<\/p>\n

While you\u2019re in town you just may be able to take in a game of softball, American Legion Baseball, T-ball, pee-wee or midget. Enjoy a game of basketball or tennis at our new recreation\u00a0complex which has 4 basketball courts and 2 tennis courts. Recreation complex is located on Railroad St.<\/p>\n

Golf Course<\/u><\/h2>\n

If golf is your game, then come and enjoy a pleasant round or two at the Bowbells County Club located on Stony Creek just 3 miles east of\u00a0town.\u00a0This\u00a09 hole golf course features creeks, doglegs, rolling hills and trees and is challenging enough for the experienced golfer, but forgiving enough for the beginner.<\/p>\n

Thursday evenings are men’s night and Tuesdays are for the ladies. Family and couples nights are on the schedule too, as well as several tournaments throughout the summer.<\/p>\n

Wildlife<\/u><\/h2>\n

Is community with nature more your speed? Well you’re in luck, Bowbells and its surrounding areas are a great place to become one with nature. With Lostwood Wildlife Refuge 20 miles away and Des Lacs Wildlife Refuge just 10 miles away nature is truly right around the corner. However, don’t be in a rush to travel as wildlife is all around us from roaming deer and moose to the Hungarian Partridge and the Mallard.<\/p>\n
