Bowbells ParkNear the center of town you will find our City Park. While your children run & enjoy the play structure you can sit and relax under the abundant shade trees. Our park also features picnic shelters, 2 person swings, campsites and soon to come… a new community pool.

While you’re in town you just may be able to take in a game of softball, American Legion Baseball, T-ball, pee-wee or midget. Enjoy a game of basketball or tennis at our recreation complex which has 4 basketball courts and 2 tennis courts. Recreation complex is located on Railroad St.

This year the landscape of the park will change as Bowbells has contracted with a vendor out of Fargo to install a new community swimming pool. The Bowbells Recreation Commission plans to begin demolition of the old bath house in preparation for the new community swimming pool.

Country ClubIf golf is your game, then come and enjoy a pleasant round or two at the Bowbells Country Club located on Stony Creek just 3 miles east of town.  This 9 hole golf course featuring creeks, doglegs, rolling hills and trees is challenging enough for the experienced golfer, but forgiving enough for the beginner. Thursday evenings are men’s night and Tuesday’s are for the ladies. Family and couples nights are on the schedule too, as well as several tournaments throughout the summer.
